Muhammad Ali (born Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr.; January 17, 1942) is an American treasure widely considered by fans and historians alike as the greatest championship boxer of all time. Sports Illustrated named him “Sportsman of the Century” in 1999. Ali’s autobiography, “The Greatest,” was filmed in 1977, with Muhammad Ali playing himself.
